Breeding

Procreation is an important part of species survival. For the most part, unless mentioned in specialty procreation section, breeding is done with intercourse. There is, however, options of what the child will be depending on the parents, as we will explain below.

Offspring

For the most part a child born of two supernaturals will be of one of the supernaturals species that their parents are. Below are exceptions.

• Were-creatures
  • Children born of two different types of werecreatures will be one of the two types when born. So a wolf and bear set of parents have a kid, it will be a wolf OR a bear.
  • Human/Mage/Hunter parent and werecreature parent can have either a human, mage, hunter or a werecreature (of the parents type).
• Gorgon
  • Gorgons are only born of Gorgon mothers.
  • Gorgon men cannot have Gorgon children but they can impregnate other supernatural creatures, they cannot impregnate humans, mages or hunters.
• Human - These are sort of a blank slate with supernaturals.
  • If a human male impregnates a supernatural creature, the child will be the supernatural that they impregnated.
  • If a human female is impregnated by a supernatural creature it has a 50/50 chance to be human (mage included) or the supernatural that impregnated them.
• Mage - Identical to humans, except they have a higher chance to produce a mage child than a standard human does, even over other supernatural beings.
• Valkyrie
  • Valkyries are only female and can only bear female children. All children of Valkyrie are Valkyries.
• Hunter - Identical to humans, except they have a higher chance to produce a hunter child than a standard human does, even over other supernatural beings.
• Fae (Nymphs, Elves, Dryads, Mermaid's, Satyrs, Siren, Kelpie) - Fae tend to breed within their ranks or with humans. Breeding with humans often results in magical (read mage) children, but not fae children.
• Dragon - Dragon procreation takes years and can only happen between 2 dragons.
• Gargoyles - Gargoyles are only able to procreate with other gargoyles.

Specialty Breeding

Vampires procreate by turning humans (including hunters or mages) by the embrace which is explained in their article.

Lilin procreate by intercourse and absorbing part of the soul of the person they are having intercourse with.

Prometheans are made by mages.

Furskins are created by magic and fuckery.
