Souls

Here on Grim Horizons there are many sorts of creatures but not all creatures have souls. A soul is a sort of sentient magic that powers most beings. When a creature with a soul dies that soul moves on and is either reborn into another creature or disperses into the magic of the world around it.

A soul does not define a creature as inherently good or bad just whether they are created or born.

No soul

• Promethean - Created by magic
• Lilin - Born of a soul but  does not have one of their own.

Other

• Furskin - Furskins technically have multiple souls, that of the human that it once was as well as the souls of the creatures it has melded with.
