Dawnbreak Map

Dawnbreak is an (fictional) old mining town the southern coast of Alaska, it spends 6 months in winter (October-April) and 3 months of 16+ daylight hours (May-July).

All mining operations have been shut down as the mines are dangerous and do not have enough ore to be supported.

The town has been a primarily supernatural town since the early nineteen hundreds when it was first settled.

Downtown is remnants of the historical town of Dawnbreak and its roots. It houses a few newer shops, a few inherited shops and has some historical landmarks.

• The Wicca Hour - A New age shop that sells crystals, candles, books, incense etc that you would use in your witchy life. Additionally, the mage owner, Mordria, sells more powerful/magical items of use but only to trusted clientele.

• Flour Power Bakery - A bakery that sells just about any baked delight that you could imagine. Cookies are plentiful and sometimes free if you are having a bad day.

• Buckwild Supplies - A farming and sporting goods supply store with things for hunting, farming and more.
  Owner: Donovan Redford

Oldtown is the slums of Dawnbreak, older homes and shops, the more poverty stricken people of Dawnbreak tend to live in this area and includes the mobile home park. Oldtown includes the older docks and is a common place for gold farmers to come to try to make their millions.

• Redford Auto - An auto repair shop that completes all of your car maintenance needs.

• Moonshiner Bar - A dive bar that is host to primarily werewolf patrons.
  Owner: Open

Newtown is the newly developed places in Dawnbreak, all made in the past 15-20 years. It includes most chain stores, like Starbucks and Dick's Sporting goods, Walmart and Target stores.

• Dawnbreak Veterinary Clinic - The town's oldest vet clinic in a new space. This clinic has seen its fair share of weres and mythical creatures to patch up over the years.

• Witch's Brew - An upbeat bar with an almost club like feel. A hang out spot for younger people in Dawnbreak. It is both a bar and a brewery.

Outer areas of dawnbreak are the more rural homes with large plots of land, these include the farmlands and forests that surround the town.

•  Embershard Lake  is a lake created by a meteor strike, it is a common place for people to visit in the summer and has an unreachable peak that creates a waterfall into the more accessible location. It has a few closed mines that surround the lake and the forest around the lake, and Embershard river that leads to the main river are considered to be haunted.
• Stella's Sanctuary is the home of Donovan and Rylee "Stella" Redford. It is a place where injured wild animals are taken care of, when injured, before they are returned to their home.
• Redford Ranch - Owned by one of the founding families, the Redford's, this ranch has been around producing cattle, milk, thoroughbred horses and chicken for a century.
• Lightstone Ranch - Owned by one of the founding families, The Lightstone's, this ranch is one of the larger producers of hops, barley, hay and produce.
